Alison Brooke McCririe of Modesto and Joseph Andrew Ryan of Elmsted, United Kingdom, were married on July 28, 2007 at St. Mary the Virgin Church, Hastingleigh, United Kingdom. A reception followed at the Ryan family home in Elmsted. Alison is the daughter of Anne and Mark Looker of Modesto. Joseph is the son of Kate and Alan Harrison and the late Paul Ryan.

The couple honeymooned in Italy and is now living in New York City. Alison, a graduate of Downey High School, obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from CSU Fullerton, and is a production coordinator for the Discovery Channel. Joseph obtained his Bachelor degree in art from Wimbledon College, London, and a Master of Fine Art degree in painting from the New York Studio School. He is working as a curator for the Helly Nahmad.Gallery in New York City.
